Title: Raid 0
Post by: JOCHjohn on January 02, 2017, 12:17:40 pm
Hi, I'm running mint 17 on 2 250GB sata drives configured as one 500GB block device (raid 0). My problem is I can't upgrade to mint 18 or any other linux OS as nothing else so far recognizes my raid 0 configuration. When running from any bootable dvd they just see 2 individual 250GB drives but no 500GB block device and if were to install any other OS it only offers to install to one or other of my drives. Although I am happy with my present mint 17 set-up I would like to experiment with other operating systems on raid 0. I attach 2 folders to illustrate the differences between mint 17 and 18 and welcome any suggestions. I have tried ubuntu fedora and puppy but like mint 18 they don't recognize my raid 0 configuration. Regards John McNeil.
