I'm not 100% convinced this is a driver issue .. have you tried installing the chromium browser:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
then disconnecting your wired connection, and trying Chromium.

I'd just like to rule out Firefox somehow causing this.

OK, those drivers were only really tested with 12.04 .. not 12.10.

What kernel is 12.10 running:
Code: [Select]
uname -a

It may be that a kernel downgrade, then recompiling the driver might work

Did they compile without error in 12.10 ?

Linux iLinux 3.5.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 19 10:26:51 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Yes they compile without error, I even redone it with a fresh install of ubuntu just to make sure !!

Is there another distribution that have the driver by default or something , I just don't want to be with windows !

AFAIK, there will be no distro that has these drivers by default, as they aren't even properly supported by Ralink .. I had to add the VENDOR:PRODUCT ID strings to the ralink drivers to get them working in 12.04.

It won't be hard to install a 3.2 series kernel, then recompile the drivers .. this will NOT remove the 12.10 kernel, it will ust give you an OPTION to boot the older kernel.

I'll write up instructions tomorrow and post them here, but I'm off to bed now .. it's 03:45 here ;)

OK, create a directory in your Home directory called kernal-install:
Code: [Select]
mkdir ~/kernal-install
change directory to it:
Code: [Select]
cd ~/kernal-install
now download the 3 (64bit) kernel files necessary (we're going to go for 3.2.0-33, current in 12.04):
Code: [Select]
wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.2.33-precise/linux-headers-3.2.33-030233-generic_3.2.33-030233.201210310701_amd64.deb
then:
Code: [Select]
wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.2.33-precise/linux-headers-3.2.33-030233_3.2.33-030233.201210310701_all.deb
then:
Code: [Select]
wget http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.2.33-precise/linux-image-3.2.33-030233-generic_3.2.33-030233.201210310701_amd64.deb
Now install them with:
Code: [Select]
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

When installed (and you're back at an $ prompt) .. REBOOT.

If this is NOT a dual boot system, you'll have to hit and hold the Shift key immediately after the BIOS POST screen to access the GRUB boot menu .. once aat the GRUB boot menu, look for the option to boot into the 3.2 kernel (maybe in a sub-menu called something like "Other Linux Versions" .. highlight it, and hit enter to boot to it.

When at the desktop, open a terminal and run:
Code: [Select]
uname -a
to check you're using the 3.2 kernel, NOT the 3.5 kernel.

Once you're sure .. follow the original instructions to download, compile, and install the drivers.

If it works .. let me know, and I'll tell you how to set the 3.2 kernel as the default kernel to boot at system startup (so you don't have to keep selecting it at the GRUB menu every boot).

Rebooting WITHOUT selecting the 3.2 kernel at the GRUB menu should boot the 3.5 kernel.

One at a time .. you'll probably have to reinstall the graphics drivers (if you're using proprietary drivers).

Start "Additional Drivers" .. then if any graphics drivers are listed, de-activate them .. then reactivate them.

But if I were you I'd give consideration to either replacing Ubuntu 12.10 with 12.04 LTS .. which will be supported for longer anyway, as it's a "Long Term Support" release.
(12.04 has 4 and a half years support left .. 12.10 has about 17 months .. hopefully Ralink will have released a new driver before 12.04 runs out .. or your card will be added to the rt2800pci open source drivers).

or

just buy one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-7811Un-Wireless-Adapter-Wizard/dp/B005CLMJLU
and sticking with the 3.5 kernel
(that Edimax EW-7811Un Nano works "out-of-the-box" n 12.04, so *should* in 12.10 to)

If you open "Additional Drivers" .. is anything listed ?

We'll get to making 3.2 default in a bit .. though as I said you'd probably just be better off with Ubuntu12.04 .. which you can get from there if you wish:

I've listen to your advice I finaly install 12.04 ! Thank you so much for your support !

One last question what is better

AMD/ATI proprietary FGLRX graphic driver or
AMD/ATI proprietary FGLRX graphic (post-release updates)

and by installing 12.04 I don't have the cursors problem anymore  :)

It's not really important .. go with "post release updates" unless you have a problem with them ;)

Glad to hear you're now sorted.

[EDIT]

Ooops, nearly forgot .. you're most welcome :)
