Distro for Photo and video fans
« on: November 14, 2012, 02:16:31 pm »
Hi

Just downloaded ArtistX distro based on Ubuntu.  I am going to be trying out over the next couple of weeks.  It is aimed at Photo and Video fans with virtually every Linux program of the genre installed along with the codecs.  It seems fast with a clean interface.  The iso is hefty at 4gb but it has everything pre installed, I mean everything!  I have put it on an 8gb micro sd card and it flies along (3.4gb perstistance).

It's here for anybody interested.       http://artistx.org/blog/
