Ubuntu For Smartphones (not Ubuntu for Android)
« on: January 03, 2013, 12:03:36 am »
If I'm understanding this correctly ...

This isn't Ubuntu for Android (ie. Ubuntu running on or alongside Android), it's Ubuntu running as a REPLACEMENT for Android on your Android smartphone:-

Part of me is saying "that sounds great", but quite a large part is saying "but it's Ubuntu, so it's probably not going to do exactly what it says on the tin" ... and after my historical experience with Unity (!) I have to wonder who's implemented the UI .. (?)
