try this ..

Code: [Select]
gedit ~/.config/autostart/cairo-dock.desktop

Find the line that reads:-

Quote
Exec=cairo-dock

and change it to read

Quote
Exec=cairo-dock -c

SAVE the file .. log off/on to test.

The next question is should i mark this solved because if my memory serves me right the original post was regarding Mint 14 (which I've now given up on) and hasn't really been resolved ?
