USB with write protected partition resolved

I went to a conference and got a device so logging contacts.  Basic a USB stick with 2 partitions  2Gb and a small 160Mb partition that is write protected.  Dose anyone know a way to remove the write protection so I can use the whole of the stick.

Easiest way ..

Copy everything you want from it to your PC

then use Gparted or Disk Utility to delete all the partitions, then create a single FAT32 partition.

Then copy your stuff back.
