Mint 14.1 customising (SOLVED)
« on: April 28, 2013, 07:49:59 am »
Hi just moved to Mint 14.1 (see my Andriod post).
I have 3 usb external drives attached.  Every time I boot up the 3 disks appear on the desktop and open up.  I just want open them....when I want to.  I just want to go 'computer' and open when I want.

Any suggestions?

Hi Toonmam

Menu-Preferences-Cinnamon Settings-Desktop

Uncheck "Show mounted volumes on desktop"

Good luck

If you can keep your head while all around are losing theirs, then you're not quite grasping the situation
