Hey!

Id like to know how I can remove a window manager, ie windowmaker, as choosable in display manager before login without having to deinstall it with yast.

but not with console, wiith yast.

so, how is it done?

Can't tell you how to do it from Yast (or even if it's possible.

But if you navigate to:-

/usr/share/xsessions

you should find some .desktop files.

Open the one you don't want to be  displayed in a text editor, and add the line:-

NoDisplay=true

SAVE the file.

WARNING: You are logged into reality as 'root'

logging in as 'insane' is the only safe option.
