[SOLVED] KDE Screen Recorders
« on: November 12, 2013, 02:22:15 am »
Just wondering what the best screen recorder is for Kubuntu?
I have been looking through them in Muon Software Centre but the reviews are practically all 50/50.
I installed Kazam Screencaster and had a go at recording in full screen (1920x1080) but when viewing the recording in OpenShot it looks rather pixelated. Is there any way (other than changing screen resolution) I can improve the resolution?
There are review for RecordMyDesktop too but I'd like to know more about it before I go and try another one.

Try Vokoscreen .. it's by far the best (GUI) Linux screencaster I've tried.

Code: [Select]
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vokoscreen-dev/vokoscreen
then
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get update
then
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install vokoscreen

or see here:
