Hi Morgan700 and welcome to the forum :)

Quick explanation to everyone else .. I managed to accidentally delete Morgan700's first posting along with a load of spam whilst it was awaiting approval, so I asked that he just posted a quick "hello" to get first post approval out of the way.

Sorry for that Morgan700  :-[

Forgiven.  :)

Seriously, though, I'm enjoying my new adventures in Linux. Couple of system crashes and re-installations but it's all part of the learning curve. I'm really impressed with my Mint 16 (Mate). I've been able to use my Canon printer, iPad, without installing additional programs - which was probably the reason for the crashes in the first place. I didn't realise Mint could do those things out-of-the-box and I should have just tried a few things before I went to the Software Manager!

Glad to hear you're enjoying Linux/Mint .. any problems/questions give us a shout, as there are some differences how things are done but as ypu've seen Linux is not "difficult" as some would have you believe :)
