where are the bookmarks?
« on: January 14, 2012, 08:52:03 pm »
My laptop just have up the ghost (think its a power supply issue).
I've hooked the hdd up to the desktop via USB and can explore it easily enough.
Thing is, earlier I created about 30 bookmarks and would like to recover them. But where will I find them?
Btw they were created in chrome if that helps.
If you need help ask a professional, then act upon their advice.
Anything less and you're just wasting peoples time.

Hi,

This is the location on my Crunchbang insallation:
/home/<user>/.config/chromium/Default

I expect Chrome would have the same location

To see it you have to enable  view of hidden files

I *think* they are in:
/home/<user>/.config/google-chrome/Default

Remember .config is a hidden folder, so you'll have to hit Ctrl+H whilst in your home directory to see it.
