Title: Permisions error
Post by: Toonman on November 04, 2014, 11:49:59 AM
I am trying to edit a jpg file on my laptop (PM5).  the file was downloaded to a usb drive from my main computer (PM5)

I am getting this;

Saving '/media/a/3D3B-BE1A/Chickens/mouse.jpg' failed:

Read-only file system

Any ideas?
Thanks

Copy the jpg to your desktop .. then edit the copy.

How is the USB stick formatted ?

May be better to use FAT32, but your call.
