Title: Manjaro and AUR!
Post by: OdinAbbas on August 30, 2020, 10:19:48 am
Hello,

When using manjaro, I have access to octopi.

How can I distinguish between the files that come from manjaro and those that come from AUR?

Evidently, I obtain files from 'all'

Thanks ! ufabet (https://ufabetyou.com)

Hello Odin - and welcome to the Forum.

I found the following guidance at https://itsfoss.com/aur-arch-linux/ (https://itsfoss.com/aur-arch-linux/):
1. Open Pamac (listed as Add/Remove Software)
2. Once you are in Pamac go to Preferences
3. In the Preferences dialog box go to the AUR tab, enable the AUR support, enable check for updates and close the dialog box.
4. You can now search for packages and those which belong to AUR can be identified by the tag under the package descriptions.

Hope that helps.
