Title: Linux equivalent to Peerblock (PC)
Post by: pooky2483 on November 25, 2011, 11:18:38 pm
Ive just downloaded the iplist-0.29.tar.bz2 file and I'm not confident enough on what to do with it to install it. Any help...

iplist from here:
https://launchpad.net/~ssakar/+archive/ppa/+build/2012495
seems to work on my Ubuntu 11.10 64bit system .. even though it was packaged for 10.10 64bit (Maverick)

Direct download link:
https://launchpad.net/~ssakar/+archive/ppa/+build/2012495/+files/iplist_0.29-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

then just double-click the downloaded file to install .. then when Ubuntu Software Centre opens, click Install

You can UNINSTALL it with
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove --purge iplist
if you decide you don't want it.
