General Discussion / Administrator or User
« on: September 11, 2017, 04:01:47 pm »
So is it better to use your favorite Linux Distro as a Administrator or a User, is it safer in one than the other, and if it's User what setting should you change if any so that a User can run the Linux Distro on an ever day basis. Or should you even care about whether your a Administrator or a User.

I have to says when I was reading Gadgets360,( http://gadgets.ndtv.com/apps/news/microsoft-windows-store-itunes-ubuntu-suse-fedora-linux-distributions-1692629 ) I was pleased to see that Microsoft has allowed Ubuntu into the Windows Store, and at a furture date Fedora and SUSE will be in the store, OK I know  for  visualized environment, but then why is Microsoft allowing Linux Distros, OK so iTunes is also going to be there but why are they doing this for Linux. General Help & Advice / The address wasn't understood
« on: January 02, 2017, 08:56:06 pm »
Hi, I'm using Firefox 50.1.0 on Linux Mint 18.1, on trying to watch sky- go I get the following message,
The address wasn't understood

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (skygo) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

You might need to install other software to open this address.

I been watching sky-go for well over a year no problems, on Linux Mint 17.3 and more recently on Linux Mint 18.1, I get netflex OK and silverlight5.0 is working this has just happen in the last couple of days skygo works fine on windows 10 with Firefox.
I have tried reseting Firefox, and reinstalling Firefox, any one got any ideas on how to fix this.
