Great. I've even just now posted photos from the SD card directly to Facebook. Now I can share some pictures while I'm on holiday rather than only afterwards.

I'm not sure if you recall what a nightmare/impossibility that used to be under Linpus Lite!

Thx

I don't use Fekbook, but yeh .. pretty much anything was a pain if Firefox 2 :)

So I take it you're liking PeppermintOS then ;)

I'm nomadic so all my friends and family are abroad, well except my wife. So at times Fekbook is the simplest way to keep in touch with them en masse. That said I don't like it either, so I ensure I use it, rather then it me. Made up user name, only 20 'Friends', no personal profile info, don't use any Apps etc...

Yes I'm impressed with Peppermint2 so far. So much easier than LL where you could bust the OS just by doing something incorrectly with an SD card or stick.!.

I'm not necessarily making any judgement calls about Facebook or its users, the missus couldn't live without it, and I suppose it's very handy for some .. it's just not for me.

I suppose I'm just stuck in my old ways, and still use email, skype, and dropbox etc.

I had a quick look once .. and though I can take a PC apart and rebuild it with my eyes closed, and sort out just about any problem, software or hardware, my missus and kids thought it very funny that I couldn't make head nor tail out of Facebook ;)

Understand.
The thing I really don't like about it is how stealthy it is in trying to continuously break your privacy. And 'since you signed up to share, how can you complain about sharing' eh?

Heh .. you'd be whispering in the wind complaining anyway, not to mention they seem to lock accounts for no apparent reason then refuse to say why .. nah, not for me.
