Unluckly dont work Mark.
The resolution are good but my mouse cant go to bottom (like the resolution where it can move is still 1024x600).

Here is my result for xrandr

Code: [Select]
max@max-AO531h:~$ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 768, maximum 4096 x 4096
LVDS1 connected 1024x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 223mm x 125mm
   1024x600       60.0*+
   800x600        60.3     56.2
   640x480        59.9
VGA1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

and xrandr -q are the same (but i've just noticed that now the resolution here are the right one)

Sorry for the double post, but i've solved the problem and now all things work fine :)

So, first of all you must do this patch:

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mdeslaur/testing
and than
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get update

After this reboot and

Code: [Select]
xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode "1024x600" --scale "1x1.28"

It work perfectly for me, and now im on 1024x768 :)

Now i just need to know how can i set this permanent and the work is over! Again ty all! :)

OK, lets create an autostart .desktop file:
Code: [Select]
gedit ~/.config/autostart/monitor-adjust.desktop

When a blank file opens, make it read:-

Code: [Select]
[Desktop Entry]
Name=Monitor Auto Adjust
Comment=Change LCD resolution to 1024x768
Exec=lxterminal --command xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode "1024x600" --scale "1x1.28"
Terminal=true

SAVE the file .. reboot, or log off/on to test

Thanks for the PPA instructions, it may come in handy for anyone else with a 531h .. it wasn't necessary on my AOA110L :) .. maybe a different graphics adapter, or something I've done previously
