Browser on my acer aspire one won't respond

Ive tried everything suggested it happened a couple of months ago but got it going again by by renaming my Mozilla file I've tried that and it won't work please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nozza97, and welcome to the forum. :)

Are we talking about the default OS that came on the Aspire One (Linpus Lite) ?

Are we talking about the default version of Firefox (Firefox 2) ?

What happens if you start firefox in safe-mode and disable all the plugins as described here:
