(Solved). flash problem in Ubuntu 14.04
« on: April 23, 2016, 08:34:34 pm »
Hello folks,

I had a problem a while back reinstalling Flash in Firefox in Ubuntu 14.04.

Mark suggested the following, and it worked.

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

I'm now having a similar problem in a liveusb of Ubuntu 14.04, but the solution isn't working. What I get is..

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package flashplugin-installer

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You probably need to enable the multiverse source first
Applications->System Tools->Preferences->Software & Updates.

Select Ubuntu Software tab and select the entry which (multiverse)
