Background in Libre office writer SOLVED
« on: July 25, 2019, 02:10:49 pm »
Hey guys can I change the colour of the background of Libre office writer from dark grey to white?
I don't find it that easy on the eye.
(Peppermint 9 distro).
Many thanks.

My computers: Asus notebook x102B, running on Peppermint 9. Asus c300 Chromebook and an old Dell inspiron mini netbook running on Mint.

If I've understood the question correctly, the answer seems to be yes.

Go to Tools ~ Options ~ Application colours and set Application background to white.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I had done that and found it didn't change toolbar ribbon background. Then later on I found I had to change the whole desktop file icons style. Done that. I'd been using my Chromebook for so long that I'd forgotten some Linux stuff!
I have to use the virtual keyboard on the Chromebook now. If my Linux netbook had a bigger screen and SSD drive it'd be perfect!
