Bluetooth speaker won't work
« on: May 09, 2019, 07:17:14 pm »
Hey guys for some reason I cannot get Bluetooth to work on my Peppermint notebook- there is an icon there but it just comes up with a weird dialogue box and says the "daemon" is not there.
My computers: Asus notebook x102B, running on Peppermint 9. Asus c300 Chromebook and an old Dell inspiron mini netbook running on Mint.

Anyone know how to get my bluetooth speaker to work please? I've been trying and trying since yesterday and it will not work, just a message about a daemon.

When I looked it up online it said it did. Mark my computer mouse died last night so I cannot post those commands you gave me until I get another one. I find trackpads imnpossible to cut and paste with. Sorry for typos, I can't use trackpads easily for editing, this has teensy screen so bad typing sorry. And to add insult to injury I woke up to find my Chromebook is dead again and won't charge!!!! I had taken it to the comuter shop and got a new charger for it. It has been working great for 3 days and now it is not. I have to take it to the computer repair shop again this afternoon.
