What program would I get to transfer data between nokia slide and ubunta 10.10 mostly contacts
I have Ubuntu 12.04. LTS,  Nautilus 3.4.2, Google Chrome 21.0.1180.57 and Firefox 13.0.1,

As far as I'm aware, the Nokia should be recognised by the system as a USB mass storage device, so you shouldn't need any application... though there *may* be a setting on the phone that you have to select to tell it to act as a mass storage device.

That said, I *have* seen (on another forum) that sometimes Nokia mobiles don't format the MicroSD cards properly (no partition) so they are mounted read-only in Linux... so you *may* have to format the card properly first (using a card reader).
