A few questions (if you would be so kind) before I run off and install it on my VPS ..

a) What is PHP's "safe-mode", as the README makes a big deal about disabling it ?

b) How is it accessed once installed ? .. which isn't in the README.

c) Is there anything in the config.php that could be a security risk ? .. (from a cursory look) should I hide any of the network interfaces, VPN tunnels for example ?

d) is there any point in the "sensors" stuff on a VM/VPS ?
