3d cube for netbook ubuntu

new to linux deciding to switch from windows or not
can you get that 3d desktop cube thing for the ubuntu netbook version of linux??

In answer to your question… Yes, as long as your graphics card and drivers support 3D acceleration, then Compiz should work.

What is your graphics card/chip?

Name: mobile intel(r) 945 express chipset family
type:mobile intel(r) gma950
direct 3d acelaration: enabled
direct draw acelaration : enabled
computer: toshiba nb100

According to Toshiba the NB100 series seem to have an Intel GMA950 graphics chip…

Toshiba NB100-11R
Toshiba NB100-10Y
Toshiba NB100-12A

From what I can find online, that should be fine for the Compiz cube and other visual effects.
