about Proper installation of linux kubuntu 64 bit

OK, not sure what happened with kate there, but Mint appears to be on /dev/sda6

and what this partition of linux swap?
i know that i installed in this computer only 1 os of linux.

/dev/sda7 is the swap partition … it’s used if your Linux OS runs out of physical memory.

In Windows terms, it’s “virtual memory”.

So should delete the partition of linux-swap, of neet to to delete the linux mint? To completely remove of os linux mint?

Remove it if you wish (windows doesn’t use it), or leave it for use by Kubuntu when you install it … your call

in installation of kubuntu Alongside os windows, how In the right way i install this?
if i’ll with not delete the Current partition of linux-swap
& if i’ll with delete the Current partition of linux-swap
I do not exactly remember how to install linux os Alongside windows os.

Delete /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda7

Do not create any new partitions … leave the space unpartitioned

install Kubuntu … it should offer to use the “free space”, accept that.

How correctly via software of GParted Delete this partitions? These partitions
At the beginning of installation there is 3 option
1,Alongside windows os
2,replace windows with the linux
3,something else
so What should you choose?
1 or 3?
& Is before installation should format the usb stick? if yes so How correctly via software of GParted to do this?

How correctly via software of GParted Delete this partitions?

Just boot to a LiveD/LiveUSB, fire up gparted, right-click on /dev/sda7 and select “Swapoff”, right-click /dev/sda7 again and select “Delete”,then click the “Apply” button.

When that’s done, right-click /dev/sda6 and select “Delete”, then click the “Apply” button.

so What should you choose? 1 or 3?

Pointless answering that at the moment because those option MAY have changed once you delete the above partitions.

That said it’s fairly clear you’re trying ti install Kubuntu “Alongside Windows” don’t you think

Is before installation should format the usb stick?

Can’t really answer that until we know what are you using to create the LiveUSB ?

“That said it’s fairly clear you’re trying ti install Kubuntu “Alongside Windows” don’t you think”
i see that in option of something else
write also"you can create or resize pratition yourself, or choose multiple pratitions for ubuntu or kubuntu".
“Can’t really answer that until we know what are you using to create the LiveUSB ?”
how can i know what i use to create this LiveUSB?
I forgot how exactly I used to create this LiveUSB
so what to do?

OK, let’s start from the beginning here…

a) what’s the goal ? … is it to remove Mint and install Kubuntu in it’s place ?

b) have you already got a working Kubuntu LiveUSB ?
