Chrome for Mint 13 (SOLVED)

I’m having problems with Firefox constantly freezing/crashing so have decided to try Google Chrome instead.

On the Chromium page, chromium - An open-source project to help move the web forward. - Monorail, it gives a list of distros but doesn’t mention Mint.

Can I use any of the distros listed?

Thanks in advance.

Chromium (open source version of Chrome) will be in your default repository … to install just open a terminal and run:

sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

or if you want Chrome … go to here:

and download/install the .deb version that suits your OS architecture (32bit or 64bit)

Many thanks Mark as always.

You’re welcome (as always)

I take it it’s working now ?

Ignore that … I hadn’t noticed you’d marked the topic (SOLVED)

Yes it’s working fine, thanks.

Happy to hear it
