Conspiracy, or just a PITA?

The laptop is very rarely ever-off the charger anymore, due the battery not lasting any longer than 10/20 mins. Even with a DC charge going into it, there’s still no light.

I’ve been having a look at the Acer Gold 7.

Same laptop as my brothers, only this one comes with more RAM… 6GB to be specific.

Although I have to say, HP’s Envy, just makes me drool and want it, because of all the shiny. (Excluding the beats speakers. Which are absolutely grab!)

But at 1.2K, it’s exactly the same price as a Macbook.

I think I’ll stay in the £500-800 range.

Jeez … that HP Envy is a serious rip off

Check the spec of this:

VERY similar NVIDA graphics (similar high mid range) … the rest is pretty much the same … and for HALF the price

OK 15.6" instead of 17" … but $600 qiud cheaper … C’mon :o

That’s almost exactly like my brothers laptop, only NVIDIA graphics and MORE RAM, which GOOD for me.

Me = AMD fanboy / NVIDIA fanboy. :stuck_out_tongue:

You think that’s a rip off? Wait till you see what you pay for a full spec 15.6" Macbook pro. You pay £2,637.98.

At that price … I’ll bet HP sell precisely NONE of those :o

I wish Acer would sell a laptop with a backlit laptop. Honestly that’s the one thing I REALLY like about the Macbook/HP Envy. Other than that, they’re both overly-priced pieces of tech for people with deep pockets.

The Macbook’s keyboard is REALLY nice to touch, but then again I’ve always got my aluminum keyboard. :stuck_out_tongue:

Heh … “shiney” grabbed your eyes again eh

Still £600 for a bulb, and 1.4" of extra screen … Nah.

I’m pretty sure with some “DIY” I could have a neon-blue backlit keyboard.

Wouldn’t surprise me if someone already sells em.

Hmm… I may look into that!
