I take it you mean a ‘website’ warns you your flashplayer is out of date … as opposed to your update manager ?

Which web browser ?

and is there any output from:

cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep sse2

I don’t need the output … just to know if there was any.

a) Is it Firefox that warns the flashplayer is out of date … or the Linux update manager ?

and

b) Is there any output from:

cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep sse2
