Linux in the Windows Store

I have to says when I was reading Gadgets360,( Windows Store to Get iTunes; Fedora, SUSE Linux, and Ubuntu Are Coming as Well | Technology News ) I was pleased to see that Microsoft has allowed Ubuntu into the Windows Store, and at a furture date Fedora and SUSE will be in the store, OK I know for visualized environment, but then why is Microsoft allowing Linux Distros, OK so iTunes is also going to be there but why are they doing this for Linux. Can’t help but feel something just no right here.

AFAIK it’s all about Microsoft Azure running Linux VM’s, so system admins can administer Linux VM’s from within Windows (Powershell).
