Problems using wget in cron job

Hi - I’m setting up a cron job on a shared linux server using cpanel. The command is as follows
wget -O /dev/null http://myurl.com/wptweet/wp-content/plugins/WPTweetMachinePro/auto.php

The problem is that I keep getting the following error reported:-

–2016-02-03 10:11:02-- http://myurl.com/wp-content/plugins/WPTweetMachinePro/auto.php
Resolving myurl.com… nn.nn.nnn.nn
Connecting to myurl.com|nn.nn.nnn.nn|:80… connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response… 404 Not Found
2016-02-03 10:11:03 ERROR 404: Not Found.

I have searched extensively for answers to this problem but nothing I have tried works. I’ve also replaced wget -O with lynx -dump but then I get another error - “Lynx file “/etc/lynx.lss” is not available.”

Unfortunately I do not have access to the host server settings but if I new what to ask for I could request a change from the hosting company.

Can anyone help?
Many thanks

And are you actually allowed access to the contents of:-
http://myurl.com/wptweet/wp-content/plugins/WPTweetMachinePro/
??

I mean what happens if you put that into a web browser ?
