Sticking B key

Hey guys the letter B key on my laptop isn’t working so great- during normal typing it doesn’t type the B -I have to press it really hard to work- any tips to rectify this please?

It is possible that there is some debris lodged in under the key(s)
You could try to clean it with blowing compressed air under it.
If that does not work then try the vacum cleaner (with brush attachement).
If that fails then try to remove the offending key(s). There are plenty of instrucions on the web - see example here.
I that does not help then the keyboard can be replaced.

You can get the compressed air from poundland.

If it’s the rubber blister type keyboard (and it probably is), and it’s not that the key is “sticking” as much as just a bad contact (specially if caused by spillage) then the keyboard will need replacing.

Is it that the key feels like it’s not going down as far as the others, or does it “feel” like it’s working properly, yet nothing happens ?

Thanks for the replies guys.

It feels the same, I just have to press it much harder for the b to come.

What’s it look like?

I doubt if compressed air will help then, but it can’t hurt to try…
