Update of LibreOffice (Nov 2014). Calc sort no longer working correctly.

Hello Forum members. I downloaded the suggested update to various components of LibreOffice 48 hours ago. Subsequently when using Calc I found that it was sorting incorrectly unlike earlier versions. To illustrate this, type in simple numbers in two columns across 10 rows, and in the third column, multiple Column A by Column B and copy it down all rows. Now sort it from low to high (ascending, ensuring that you highlight the the whole columns and rows. My sort order is all over the place, unlike correct previous versions of Calc. This is surely a bug, and I’m not sure if this is the right forum? Can any members throw light on this? Regards…Greg.

This seems to be a reported bug - 83765 – EDITING: Wrong/Random ordering on sort by column.
(maybe here too - Bug #1389858 “Libreoffice calc 4.2.7-0ubuntu1 not updating refer...” : Bugs : libreoffice package : Ubuntu)

All you can do is wait for a patch at present I’m afraid :frowning:

Thank you chemicalfan. That is exactly my problem! Wait I shall. Much appreciated ! Greg.
