WiFi connection not working with peppermint 3 on Asus eee PC900

I’m a newbie. My wifi does not seem to work only LAN is working. Here’s the output I got following recommendations from the previous post:
mikaela@mikai ~ $ sudo lshw -C network
[sudo] password for mikaela:

mikaela@mikai ~ $ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

mikaela@mikai ~ $ iwlist scanning
lo Interface doesn’t support scanning.

eth0 Interface doesn’t support scanning.

I don’t know how to resolve this problem. Any help will be highly appreciated.

What happens if you run:

sudo rfkill unblock all

in a terminal ?

If wireless springs to life … be sure to do a full system update by running:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

Now wireless will hopefully survive a reboot.

If the above DOESN’T work …

What’s the output from:

rfkill list

Is there a hardware switch for wirless on the EeePC 900 … it may be a physical switch, or it may be a key combo, such as Fn+F8

SOLVED on the Peppermint forum (Where the OP had also posted):

“sudo rfkill unblock all” and a full system update fixed the issue[/b]
