Hi everyone,
I was just casually browsing slashdot when I stumbled upon an article about ARCH-BSD a variant of Arch linux that uses the BSD kernel.
http://archbsd.net/
What is everyone’s opinion of this and what do you think the draw backs or advantages will be?

Nope, never heard of it … but why would you want the BSD kernel ?
ive only used bsd in servers to be honest not sure how good it would be as a desktop kernal

This was my thought. I have never had a great experience with BSD and I cant really see any advantage of using the BSD Kernel.
Maybe we are missing something…but I doubt it.
