Background in Libre office writer SOLVED

Hey guys can I change the colour of the background of Libre office writer from dark grey to white?
I don’t find it that easy on the eye.
(Peppermint 9 distro).
Many thanks.

If I’ve understood the question correctly, the answer seems to be yes.

Go to Tools ~ Options ~ Application colours and set Application background to white.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I had done that and found it didn’t change toolbar ribbon background. Then later on I found I had to change the whole desktop file icons style. Done that. I’d been using my Chromebook for so long that I’d forgotten some Linux stuff!
I have to use the virtual keyboard on the Chromebook now. If my Linux netbook had a bigger screen and SSD drive it’d be perfect!
