best metasearch in ubuntu/firefox [thanks OK now]

I can anybody recommend a meta-search engine for Ubuntu/Firefox

Don’t really use them myself … but I thought they were just search engines that gather the results from multiple search engines … so what would make then OS/Browser specific ?

There is PolyMeta that loads as an addition to the Firefox search box:

and

But I don’t know if this is what you’re after ???
