Can you tell me if such a driver is available. I think its a .inf file. Thanks.
H nigel, and welcome to the forum
You don’t need drivers for routers … either in Windows or linux.
How are you trying to connect to the Homehub ? … wireless or wired ?
And which Linux distribution are you using … Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Arch, etc. … ?
I’m trying to connect wirelessly using Ubuntu.
Can you open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run these commands and post the output … if you have NO internet connection from the Ubuntu box … copy the output to a text file, then transfer it to the PC you’re on now.
sudo lshw -C network
and
ifconfig
and
iwconfig
and
rfkill list
and
iwlist scanning
Remember, Linux commands ARE case sensitive … and with the first command, you’ll be asked for your password … you won’t see your password being entered when you type it (not even ******) but it IS going in.
I have gotten hold of an ethernet cable and selected Settings->Additional Drivers. I am now connected wirelessly. Thanks anyway.
Glad you solved it
