Sometimes GNU/Linux runs bad on new hardware.
But can my pc run debian just fine?

GPU: RX 580
RAM: 16GB

Your CPU and memory should be fine but you might have problems with the GPU.
Have a look at AMD Radeon Rx 580 drivers - Debian User Forums. A web search might reveal more information.
