Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libnautilus-extension1 (>= 1:2.29.1) solve

I am using mint 13 64bit when installing a package I get the following error Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libnautilus-extension1 (>= 1:2.29.1)

How can I install this dependency? It would be good if there was a program that sorted out dependency issues automatically …

First of all, what and how are you installing the package? :o
Or is this coming up with every package you try to install?
Output from terminal would help.

There is … it’s called your package manager

I’m guessing you’re trying to install something that’s NOT in your package manager ? … if so what ? … and where did you get it ?

I’m with SeZo … it’s not necessarily as easy as saying “download this file…”, so more info is needed

I was installing Bit Defender no problems on Ubuntu 11.10 32bit but now I am using a 64bit system there was a dependency problem. Now sorted found a response to a question on the bitdefender support site.

By the way what is sezo?

I hope you’re asking SeZo (the guy that helped you with your “opening word docs in thunderbird” issue) what his name means ? ???

[EDIT]

Any chance you can say what the solution was, or add a link … so future readers aren’t left in the dark

TIA.

I cleared by history before I saw this I do know that I was directed to a download link on the Ubuntu forums.

I will try to remember for next time. :-\
