Hi MP - It would appear that Mods are a bit thin on the ground…!
I have no experience of forum moderation so don’t know if I would be a suitable candidate or not so can you give me a bit of a ‘heads-up’, please?
What exactly is involved? How much time is needed to devote to it? Would a high-ish level of Linux knowledge be required? Etc, etc.
I’m just a general, fairly moderate level user of Linux, (getting on for 8yrs or so now), and while I’m ok in following methodology (inputting quoted code into terminals, posting results etc) I have no experience of writing that code in the first instance. Hence my ability to provide solutions would be VERY limited. I may be able to help with issues from my personal experience and point others to it but that would be about it. Would that be enough, in the meantime?
As I said in my PM, it would be a great shame if the collective knowledge on here was to be lost through lack of interest, so trying to keep things alive until another ‘guru’ comes forward would be a good thing, I think.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
