Run:

cd ~/.mozilla/plugins

then

rm -v libflashplayre.so

then

tar -xvf flashplayer10.3-32bit.tar.gz

Close ALL open web browsers, and restart Firefox.

If it still doesn’t work … in Firefox, go to Tools>Add-Ons>Plugins and make sure the ONLY active flashplayer is Shockwave Flash 10.3
