Perhaps I am doing something stupid but when I run system config-printer it gives the reply no command ‘system’ found

is there an option to browse for the printer ?

Sorry about the delay, Saturday was a busy day, lots to do. Anyway, there was no "browse2 option but tried the manual option and after setting the IP address the Printer was found and so I can now print again.
I would appreciate your advice now on how to get the Scan option working, tried again from the Printer Control Panel but that just said “No Computer Found”.
