Hi,
I am getting the below error while I am Installing Oracle 12c R2 in RHEL 7.
[oracle@oracledb database]$ ./runInstaller

Just hit Y to continue … the installer is just not being able to automatically verify your monitor supports 256 colours, by hitting Y you’re effectively saying “yes it can, so just carry on with the installation”.
[EDIT]
I find it a bit odd however that you couldn’t figure that out yet your signature contained a link to your website offering Linux ebooks and tutorials … so I’m beginning to wonder if this was purely an attempt at SEO ?
In any case I’ve removed the link in your signature as it’s in breach of forum rules.
Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for your quick reply. The installation is not continuing by just hitting Y. That is the reason why I asked this question in this forum but you find out that I am doing any kind of SEO.
Thanks
Hit Y followed by the Enter key.
