It will show you a list of files that it’s going to install … read through it and make SURE these 2 packages are NOT included
ubuntuone-client-gnome
ubuntuone-client-gnome-dbg
If they are … STOP NOW (by hitting n)… otherwise it will pull in a ton of GNOME dependencies including Nautilus.
If they are NOT in the list … accept the changes (by hitting y)
Once that’s done you will find Ubutnu One in the menu at - menu>Preferences>Ubuntu One
Click that, and you can sign in or set up an Ubuntu One accout … if/when prompted to add a “Keyring Password” … either leave them blank, and accept “Unsafe Storage”, or be sure to use your Peppermint login password.
You’ll now find a directory in you Home directory called Ubuntu One, which will sync whenever anything is put in it.
