Working in exciting environment with ever changing projects the Junior Linux System Administrator will support the Linux System Administrators in the design, build, installation, configuration and support of the Linux servers across the business. The ideal Junior Linux System Administrator will come from an IT support background or be an IT Graduate with a understanding and more importantly a real enthusiasm for Linux technology.
You will be able to discuss technology in depth, especially around opensource and have a real understanding of the Linux way of thinking. You will also have fantastic communication skills, be exceptionally technology focused and have a real passion for Linux/Unix technology.
Due to the expansion and forward thinking nature of this company there will be progression opportunities for the right candidate to a Linux System Administrator in a short time frame.
As part of this role you will be expected to work in a shift pattern, either on a 7am-3pm and 12am-8pm on a rota basis.
