Just saying thanks

A While ago I had a hard drive failure on my NAS and thought I’d lost a lot of irreplaceable files and with the help of SeZo I managed to get almost everything back,

well only last week my daughter gave birth to a wee girl (Isla)and she took a pile of pictures of her on her phone particularly the day she was born, however yesterday something went seriously wrong with the SD card and it looked like she lost everything all the pictures were gone, so I followed the instructions above and we’ve got them all back.

A huge thanks not only to SeZo but everyone on this forum who give their time and talents to help others

Great news … now back them up … TWICE

While I would be happy to take credit for my part, the thanks should be more appropriate to be directed to the coders providing the tools to enable file recovery in situations just like yours.

Well that’s true we often forget the hard work these guys do for no reward other than the satisfaction of helping others, the open source community ie those who write the code and those who help others use it is evidence that there is still nice guys in this world

If you can spare it, you could always donate the developers a couple of quid
