An icon has appeared in my Ubuntu launcher called Launch Pad. I had a brief look at it which looks rather complicated. Do I need it, if so how would it benefit me, if at all ?. I am a novice of just a few months with Linux.

It’s only going to be a web shortcut then … so unless you’d find it handy, just remove it from the launcher
