I change the password on my router( linksys) and lost my printer (HP laser jet P1102w) wifi connection. It works with a usb cabe connection

Hi, ifritzson, and welcome to the forum

if you have a Windows PC, the wireless password can be changed using the software that came with the printer … otherwise carry on below

1.) Temporarily disable wireless security on your router

2.) Run:

hp-setup

and you should get ip of printer then eg. 192.168.0.111

3.) In your web browser, go to printers web interface eg. [b]http://192.168.0.111/SSI/Auth/ip_wireless.htm[/b] and set your wireless password

4.) re-enable wireless security in your router
