we are using dual stack in SUSE SLES 11 SP4 and we got an requirement to enable IPV6 for our applications.
IPSec for IPV4 is already developed between two hosts of linux servers and should be extend for IPV6 as well.
In some of the sites it mentioned that security is inbuilt in IPV6 ,is it necessary to develop IPSec for IPV6 ?
Wea re using racoon from SLES as a deamon and IKEV1 security authentication in transport mode.
Please let us know if we can enable IPsec for IPV6 and it should work in dual stack scenario compatible for ipv4 + ipv6.
