Hi
I have downloaded skype 4.2 to my acer aspire one running the peppermint 3 system.
I would like to uninstall the program completely and leave all the other systems alone if possible as since Mark sorted it for me in December it’s been brilliant.
Does the peppermint 3 system have an add/remove programs like windows?
Many Thanks
Roy
Depending on how you installed it, you should be able to uninstall it through one of your package managers.
a) the Software Manager
b) the Synaptic Package Manager
or you could open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run:
sudo apt-get remove --purge skype
Yet again Mark fantastic job. All seems to have gone the only think left in the menu under internet is the skype short cut which I can’t seem to remove. thanks again
Run:
sudo updatedb
then post the output from:
locate skype.desktop
